Rock N' Ride Charity Biking From San Fran to OC

For anyone who has wondered what dedication for a cause is, it's something like cycling 512 miles to support music programs for children with Autism and related disorders. Anthony Riedelsheimer and Danny Thompson (drummer for punk band Face to Face), the founders of the Music Factory School of Music in Costa Mesa, will be biking from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco to Lake Forest on December 28 to January 2 to promote programs for not only their own business, but the Us Too Center as well.

The Music Factory offers a unique way for kids and adults alike to learn the intricate process of making music. The excellent teachers on staff provide private music instructions and incorporate recording sessions for students to further their studies. By teaming up with the Us Too Center, a place where kids with learning disabilities can enjoy recreational activities, the two will combine forces to help those in need.
After the marathon bike ride, there will be a welcome party and fundraiser held at the Us Too Center on 25 Spectrum Pointe Dr. in Lake Forest from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on January 2. You can also support the effort and donate here. Proceeds from the marathon will support the music programs to teach kids with autism and other disabilities how to play music.
