Billed as “a night of laughter to support our wounded heroes, marines, sailors and families of the 5th Marine Regiment,” Laughs for Leathernecks is a comedy fundraiser we'd happily shell out the admission cost (which gets you dinner, too)—there's even an option to sponsor a marine to attend the show. The event's brimming bill of comedians includes our favorite Vegas darling Rita Rudner, weatherman Fritz Coleman (yep, he's a seasoned comedian), military vet and Sirius XM comedy staple James P. Connolly, physical-therapist-turned-comedian Laura Hayden (she calls her schtick “comedic therapy”), and Orange County local comic Tom Riehl. Other goodies include silent auctions and door prizes—but knowing you're helping out one of the noblest causes while enjoying an evening of standup comedy? It's the most rewarding thing you'll do all week.
