Pickin's are slim as far as things to do on Christmas Day. It's pretty much limited to bars and movie theaters—and that's OK with us! But the Prospector, an esteemed dineanddive, offers just a little bit more than a string of folks saddled at the bar nursing beers: Christmas Karaoke! After the family dinner is over, and the older relatives are passed out on the couch, down that last gulp of eggnog and sneak out to Long Beach for a cheery fun evening of offtune hits. Get there early to snag a table or a seat at a booth, order a heavyhanded and wellpriced cocktail, and sign up for one of hundreds of classic songs from the last halfcentury.
