Spring Games (#BRHCSpringGames, #BRHCSpringGames2018) is the rescue’s largest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from this event go to saving homeless basset hounds rescued by Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California (#BHRSC). The events range from a howling contest and treat toss, to synchronized swimming, timed agility course and hound tracking.
Humans and hounds alike will have a great time participating in the games. Attendees can enjoy a BBQ lunch, peruse raffle prizes, and shop at the Vendor Village. Almost 2,000 hounds have been placed in their forever homes since the organization’s start in 1997. Three hound lovers built the organization by saving one hound.
Today BHRSC not only rescues California hounds, but has assisted hounds in other states that were at risk of euthanasia. These efforts can be followed on social media by searching #HoundHaul and #BHRSCHoundHaul.

Pre-registration for Spring Games and preorders for annual t-shirts closes 4/30/18. On site registration will also be available for $25 for the first hound and $10 for each additional.
