What You Missed: NOFX, NYE Block Party, Rebelution, Surf City Splash, Berlin, Food Truck Fare and More

Happy 2011! What'd you do? Or ,more important, what did you miss? We were all over the place with the New Year's Eve celebrations–from NOFX at the Wiltern and the Block Party at the OC Fairgrounds to Rebelution at the House of Blues and Berlin at Knott's Berry Farm. And the morning after? We were at the Surf City Splash in Huntington Beach to watch swimmers brave the chilly Pacific.

More than 7,500 visitors looked to the OC Fairgrounds to celebrate their New Year's Eve. Entertainment was provided by cover bands, and at midnight, those riders lucky to be on the Super Drop ride served as the actual “drop” to welcome in the New Year. A 10-minute fireworks show capped the night, along with 20 of some of the best gourmet-food trucks around. See the slideshow here!

Every Thursday, food trucks from near and far gather at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa to give the people what they want: Food. Lots of delicious food. Dec. 30, 2010, was no exception. Trucks including Calbi, Dan Dan BBQ, Barcelona On the Go, Crepes Bonaparte, Bacon Mania and Tornado Potato were among the participants. See the slideshow here!
