Friday-morning weather appeared threatening, with gray clouds looming on the horizon. Luckily, they never made their way ashore, allowing for Day 1 of the Katin Pro/Am Team Challenge to start as planned. Waves were shoulder-high and a bit wonky but offered enough size and power for the top talent on hand to make for an entertaining afternoon. See the photos here.
