What You Missed: AIDS Walk Orange County, the National, Doheny Blues Festival


On Saturday morning, Harvey Milk Day, the 24th annual AIDS
Walk Orange County
raised awareness of much-needed funds for HIV/AIDS
prevention. The day's events included art, a family fun zone and food
festival, a pie-eating contest, Great Park balloon rides, and even live

The National performed two sold-out nights at
the Wiltern on Friday and Saturday. Ramona Falls provided support. Click here to see the photos!


 On Saturday and Sunday, the Doheny Blues Festival took place at Doheny State Beach. The weekend's performers included the Otis Taylor Band, Robert Cray Band, Duke Robillard Band,  Booker T., the Black Crowes and Crosby, Stills and Nash. See all the photos by Beth Stirnaman here.
