What You Missed: Agenda, Sonic Youth, Where's the Band?, AVN

What'd you miss this weekend? First up: Photographer John Gilhooley had the worst assignment ever: Shooting the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo 2010 in Las Vegas. It was four days of porn, girls, porn, girls, sex toys and giant inflatable, bucking penises. Seriously. See the photos here. And yes: Totally, totally, totally NSFW. Watch out for a cameo from a certain Ron Jeremy, too.

Then the badass Sonic Youth played at the Fox Theatre Pomona on Friday night. Sic Alps opened, but as photographer Andrew Youssef put it, “They were okay. How does one really open for Sonic Youth anyway?” A question for the ages. Click here for the slideshow.

The Where's the Band? Tour includes the lead
singers of some of your favorite bands, including Anthony Raneri
(Bayside), Chris Conley (Saves the Day), Matt Pryor (The Get Up Kids)
and Dustin Kensrue (Thrice). The tour stopped at the House of Blues
Anaheim on Saturday. Click here to see the slideshow.

Lastly: Every year, the Agenda Tradeshow comes to
town, where action/sports buyers, distributors and press get together
and talk shop. Exhibitors include RVCA, Hurley, DC, OBEY, Toms, Volcom
and more. And sometimes, the whole weekend feels like a party instead of
business. This year's show took place on 1/8 and 1/9. All photos by
