UPDATE, NOV. 21, 1:10 P.M.: We just received a press release confirming the show. Get more details on how to get tickets at the bottom of the post.
ORIGINAL POST, NOV. 20, 2011, 1:21 A.M.: While checking out the Pixies tonight in LA, we heard whisperings of an unannounced Morrissey show next week. . . the fact that he's canceled his Jimmy Kimmel Show appearance only added fuel to the fire.
And now, according to some posts on Morrissey-Solo.com, Morrissey has indeed added a new show to his stint next week in Southern California: Wednesday, November 23 at the Music Box in Los Angeles.
We're hearing from sources that tickets will be first come, first serve
(read: line-up only!) at the venue box office on Wednesday and will be limited to two per person.
Morrissey-Solo.com adds that Kristeen Young will provide support and box office opening times will be available come Monday.
Also that night, just across the street at the Pantages? The Cure. As our photog Andrew Youssef wondered, what's a mopey Brit fan to do?
UPDATE, NOV. 21, 1:10 P.M.: As stated previously, tickets for Wednesday's show will only be available for purchase at the venue's box office starting at noon tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 22.
The show is all ages and there will be a limit of two tickets per person. Tickets are $75–cash only! You must show ID at the box office at time of purchase. Customers will have to return to the box office to pick up their tickets the day of the show.
Upon showing ID day of show, purchaser and guest will receive a wristband from venue staff and ticketed. No admission without wristband and scanned ticket.
The press release also adds that Morrissey will also perform on Conan on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
