Today in Music News: Against Me!, Green Day, Lady Gaga, Pavement
- Green Day goes Broadway with American Idiot, which makes the band officially about as “punk” as Sesame Street. That's OK. I like Green Day, have fond memories of Sesame Street and think militant, middle-age punk rockers are weirdos anyway.
- Lady Gaga lands comic book series, bringing a whole new breed of nerds to the genre.
- Pavement–my pick for most overrated band ever–to release “best of” album.
