Long Beach Comic Con, to be held this Halloween weekend, already has the costume party down–but the fact that there are a ton of exclusives launching this weekend makes it the best place to be to scare and be scared.
1. The Walking Dead
AMC will launch the TV series The Walking Dead on Oct. 31; they're also debuting the comic's No. 78 photo cover at the Con. MTV says actor Steven Yeun (Glenn on the TV series) will also appear on from noon to 2 p.m., Sunday afternoon for a signing event at the Image Comics booth, before the series launches 10 p.m. that night on AMC.
(Image Comics will also be giving out copies of The Walking Dead No. 75 with each ticket to the signing.)

2. Saw 3D
The Long Beach Comic Con and Lionsgate Films are premiering the movie on Oct. 29, and displaying props and costumes from all seven SAW movies.
On Saturday, Oct. 30, Costas Mandylor (who plays Detective Mark Hoffman) will be part of a meet and greet.
3. True Blood
Michael McMillian plays Reverend Steve Newlin on HBO's True Blood, but he's also a comic book creator and writer. He'll be at the LBCC to promote Lucid, published by Archaia.
What's it about? It's set in a parallel universe, and there's a combat mage in there somewhere…whatever that is. McMillian will be at the Golden Apple Comics booth, #418, on Oct. 30 from noon to 1 p.m.
