The Warriors

In 1979, director/writer Walter Hill brought to the screen the most epic of gang warfare dramas. Unlike other gang films, The Warriors was no mere knife/gun fight between two opposing groups on a street corner—it was New York City-wide in scope and the players were a dozen theatrically-dressed gangs with names like the Baseball Furies, the Rogues and the Orphans. Thrilling at every turn, The Warriors is filled with harrowing subway chases, gritty murders, hard-boiled romance and the voice of a sexy radio DJ gal who’s following all the action. Come revisit their midnight run and cheer the Warriors on to Coney to clear their name!
