On the list of things you need less of, The Real Housewives probably hovers somewhere in the top five.
Bravo disagrees: The corporation plans to renew The Real Housewives of Orange County for a seventh season.
Additionally, the franchise announced yesterday that it's sending Gretchen Rossi and Vicki Gunvalson of Orange County (and other wives from less-important locales) on a tour that'll make stops in Atlantic City, Chicago and Atlanta. The tour, dubbed “The Real Housewives Live Tour, “will set your pocketbook back anywhere from $49.50 to $170 (which, mind you, costs more than a ticket to see Bob Dylan in concert) and is meant to bring fans together with the housewives in a meet-and-greet setting.
The line-up, via Entertainment Weekly:
Atlantic City, Oct. 1, Caesars Circus Maximus Theater
Caroline Manzo, New Jersey
LuAnn de Lesseps, New York City
Kyle Richards, Beverly Hills
Vicki Gunvalson, Orange County
Hammond, Indiana (Chicago), Oct. 8, The Venue at Horseshoe Casino

Lisa Vanderpump, Beverly Hills
Phaedra Parks, Atlanta
Atlanta, Oct. 15, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre

It's unclear why the women will be touring with ladies from other cities (since, presumably, they never met during their respective seasons), but, seeing as all logic has been dispelled here, it's probably best not to question it.
Tickets go on sale this Friday.
Of course, not all the Real Housewives news today has been so uplifting. Russell Armstrong, estranged husband of Taylor Armstrong from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills committed suicide yesterday evening. Armstrong was reported found hanged in his bedroom.
