The Great American Trailer Park Musical

When you imagine a trailer park, maybe you think about Hank Hill delivering propane and propane accessories to a camper cluster where women hang their underwear on plastic chairs. Maybe you think about Eminem’s movie, 8 Mile, and the beating he took outside of his mobile home.  Or maybe you think about an actress, “diva-ing” out in her movie trailer. Whatever your connotation is, Jack Mills, director of The Great American Trailer Park Musical, brands a new image into your mind when he brings to life the story of Armadillo Acres, Florida’s most exclusive park du trailer. It’s the story of a stripper on the run who comes between an agoraphobic named Jeannie and her tollbooth-collector husband. There’s adultery, Costco and redneck show tunes. Honestly, need we say more?

Fridays-Sundays. Starts: June 8. Continues through July 29, 2012
