Stacy Clark
The Constellation Room
Indie songstress Stacy Clark knows how to turn on the charm. Her calming melodies and pop savvy form a sound that's both pleasant and youthful, which arguably explains her broad appeal. Landing in Southern California in 2004, the self-taught New York native got her start by braving open mic nights back East. After a national tour and a handful of international gigs, Clark became Orange County's adopted sweetheart. She's played endless local shows and opened for bands including Jack's Mannequin, Plain White T's and Kate Nash. Hoping to follow the success of her previous full-length album, the singer drums up excitement for her upcoming EP, Days Into Nights, with a month long residency at the Constellation Room. Fartbarf
The Continental Room
Josh McLeod is the lead singer of Fartbarf, a South Bay band that performs something they call analog electronic thrash music. They've gotten hate mail saying their music's not really thrash, but who cares? They're called Fartbarf! This week they bring their synth-laden weirdness to Fullerton alongside Serious Sam Barrett, Kid Little, James Fang. (Ben Westhoff)

Mac Miller
The Observatory
Two years ago, a 19-year-old Mac Miller embarked on his first tour, which spanned the United States, with 27 shows stemming from the acclaim of his mixtape K.I.D.S. Two studio albums, a TV show and a record label later, Mac, now 21, is on the Space Migration Tour, as his fans immerse themselves in his newest LP, Watching Movies With the Sound Off. The new album showcases his evolution from an adolescent who capered in tracks such as “Donald Trump” to a refined, more introspective state. This week, we'll get to see him live at the Observatory with a stacked under card including Action Bronson and Chance the Rapper. (Nick Nuk'em)

The Heavy
The Constellation Room
The different influences behind this group's sound include funk, '60s garage, R&B and soul, altogether creating a highly-stylized audio experience not too far removed from that of a Tarantino film. And we mean that in the best way possible, as the famous director is widely regarded for his excellent use of sound, The Heavy's music sounds like it would be excellently used in a commercial or film (and it was- the title track from their How Do You Like Me Now? EP was used in a car commercial). So why they're still so underrated is a mystery, but don't cry for them; the UK band has over 4 albums since their debut in 2007. And lucky for us in Orange County, they've included The Constellation Room in their tour. So come and get heavy tonight with The Heavy and The Silent Comedy. (Aimee Murillo)

Darryl Hall and John Oates
Pacific Amphitheatre
In the history of '80s R&B crooners, few singers were as soulful Daryl Hall. But he was a bit of an anomaly given he was white and rocked a bushy-ass mullet. Making things weirder, his partner in crime, John Oates, was a curly-haired, mustachioed guitarist who could have been lifted from the set of Hill Street Blues or a low budget porn. They were absolute proof that looks can be deceiving–and together they conquered the Billboard 100 with a slew of unforgettable hooks and six number one hits including “Kiss is on my List” and “Maneater.” In the new millennium, the band continues to receive accolades and, this week, they demonstrate that just because they're playing the OC Fair doesn't mean they're “Out of Touch.” (Brandon Ferguson)
