The Burnt Truck Celebrates First Anniversary With Eat St. Viewing Party

Even luxe loncheras celebrate milestones, and the tireless slider trio at The Burnt Truck plan to do theirs with a whole lotta winning. Don't believe us? More after we cover the basics.

The festivities occur tonight at Costa Mesa's Shark Club from 6 – 9 p.m. A secondary reason to do a happy dance is their viewing of Cooking Channel's Eat St. episode featuring the mini menu. Their Original “Sloppy Joe” slider (with mild chiles and cheesy sauciness) will be sold for just a buck.

Giveaways throughout the evening, plus a tasty raffle, will entice hungry diners. Sponsors include their friends at newly opened SWSH Shabu Shabu, Ruche, Hashigo Korean Kitchen, Threadsence and DJ Z. Raffle winners will score either multiple gift certificates and t-shirts, OR, the grand prize: a 32-inch LCD television.

Shark Club's bar will be open, but don't confuse that for an open bar! Dress code is casual, and families are welcome. For more information, visit their re-launched website.

If the Shark Club location link isn't showing up on your smart phone, their address is 841 Baker St., (714) 751-6428; www.sharkclub.com.
