TAPS Hosting Two Events This Month

Beer season is upon us, and TAPS Fish House & Brewery plans to do right by hosting two events this month, their annual Craft Brew Festival and their Summer Luau. Get excited.

]

First up: their annual Craft Brew Festival at their Corona location this Saturday, July 19 from 12 to 3 p.m. Over 30 breweries will be pouring two beers each for the event, which will also feature unlimited food. Yup: The $50 ticket will not only get you 15 drink tickets good for seven ounce pours (Basically six and a half pints), but it will also allow you access to unlimited food from the eight different food stands around the festival.

The food isn't going to be a hum-drum slice of pizza or some french fries either. You'll be getting a coast-to-coast culinary tour. Everything from yucca fries to banh mi to meat-lover calzones will be available to pair with your beer from some of the finest breweries in SoCal.

And now for (some) of the breweries:

Beachwood BBQ and Brewery
Bottle Logic Brewing
Noble Ale Works
Bootleggers Brewing
Pizza Port Brewing Co.
Tustin Brewing Co.
The Bruery
Monkish Brewing Co.
Ballast Point Brewing Co.
Golden Road Brewing Co.
Strand Brewing Co.

A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Norco/Corona YMCA.

Maybe this is too short notice for you. Have no fear. If the stars align and all goes well, TAPS plans to host a similar event next month.

But maybe beer just isn't your thing or you want to bring along the whole family for the good times. If that's the case, event number two will be sure to entice you. TAPS in Brea will be hosting their family-friendly Summer Luau on the following Saturday, July 26 from 3 to 6 p.m.

While a tad more expensive with tickets at $60 per person, you'll get to enjoy a whole banana leaf roasted pig while sipping on Polynesian cocktails while hula dancers sway their hips to live music in the background.

In addition to the whole roasted pig, Hawaiian pork buns, spam musubi, Kalbi beef short ribs and other food will be available. If you can make it to dessert, a table of shaved ice and chocolate-covered treats will be waiting for you.

Don't you just love summer? Call for tickets before the events sell out.
