Enjoying a pint of IPA or glass of Cabernet doesn't have to mean visiting your local gastropub or wine bar. One Laguna Beach property invites you to “Celebrate Good Taste Weekend” by participating in a duo of events geared towards the drinker in all of us.
Held at Surf & Sand Resort over two days, visiting hopheads and winos will fancy either event. Prices vary, so read ahead before you decide.

This Friday, guests will interact with Stone Brewing representative “Dr.” Bill Sysak and Lisa Tuttle of Constellation Wine Brands. They will be pouring bottles from their respective areas while guests migrate between five food stations prepared by Chef David Fune, seeing which drink pairs best with each dish. If this sounds like your kind of Friday night, meet them poolside between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Cost is $49 per diner.
For something more beer-centric, stop by Surf & Sand's 15fiftyfive Lounge for Saturday night sipping. Dr. Bill is back, offering advice on spring menu pairings with his selection of craft beers between 4 and 7 p.m. A more informal setting, all selections are paid a la carte.
Bottom line is you're drinking. Win-win.
