To the person who has been stealing the political signs in Costa Mesa and was allegedly caught on tape: THANK YOU. No, really, thank you for cleaning up our city. The signs are nothing but a massive eyesore and a plague on our city. Thank you for having the balls to clean up the trash our politicians leave. I do not know of one citizen who thinks these signs beautify our city. Even though Costa Mesa sends around crews to take down garage-sale signs on the day of the sale, these political signs last for weeks. Something is not right with this policy. Again, thanks for cleaning up the crappy signs. Have we ever seen a politician clean up signs after an election? Nope! Funny: Before an election, they are “political signs,” but after an election, they are trash.
