Even though it’s usually considered rock n' roll blasphemy to own a greatest hits album, when it comes to Squeeze and the US teen market, pretty much everyone had the vinyl, cassette or CD of singles—45s and under on a loop in their Walkmans, Discmans and blasting through their car’s headrest speakers. Thirty years later, you still have that CD, if it’s not already uploaded into your iPod, because no one can truly live a full life without “Tempted,” “Pulling Mussels (From the Shell)” or “Is That Love?” No one. Prepare to lose your mind this week at what’s sure to be one helluva slap and tickle evening that’s way too cool for cats.
