Bike rides, beer, poetry…Long Beach, enjoy these last few days of summer before we all have to wear sweaters again. Every week, all the things we love about the artsiest town around come together with Spoke-n Thursdays. Ready for a medium-paced, 15-20 mile ride, the group starts at Pizza Pi for pizza and beer, bikes around town making a few stops for breathers and impromptu poetry/spoken word sessions and usually ends the trek at Hole Mole. (We usually end up there too, but that’s after drinking, not biking.) Participants are encouraged to bring the following: lights, tubes, water, tools and cash. All people and bikes are welcome.
