Smoqued Santa Sunday Brunch Coming To Old Towne Orange

They had us at brunch, but the team at Smoqued wants to show their softer side in this season of giving. By holding two very special meals this month, diners will not only fill their bellies, but pass along some good fortune to others in need. You're wondering how? We're glad you asked.

Scheduled for the 8th and 22nd of this month, their brunch menu features rib-sticking grub like green eggs and ham ($9.99), featuring an arugula pesto hollandaise. We are scary excited about the drama-themed For the Love of Monte Cristo ($12.99), stuffed with turkey, ham and bacon. Must. Stop. Salivating. To participate, all they request is can of food to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank. If toys are your thing, offering an unwrapped present will go to Orangewood Orphanage.

Selfies with Santa will be available for kids of all sizes, but expect the photo op lines to increase after discounted $3.50 pints of craft beer and $10 unlimited mimosas and bloody Marty's get through your bloodstream. Brunching is between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., so set your alarm clock and raid the pantry.
