Those Mayans might be on to something with all this “End of the World” talk. It's spawning all sorts of mayhem. Take our local bacon overlords at Slater's 50/50. They've got one mother of a special.
Dubbed “the ultimate comfort burger with meatloaf and bacon” by founder Scott Slater. This meal is so epic, Steven Tyler should be wailing in the background.

A bacon pretzel bun acts as foundation for arugula, thin-sliced proscuitto and chipotle ketchup. Their meat monster is a one-third hunk of meatloaf crafted in the same fashion as the notorious patty, but better. A 50 percent beef, 50 percent bacon blend, plus rendered pancetta for good measure. It's then wrapped in bacon slices and encrusted in whole grain mustard.
Gulp.
The Armageddon Burger will be served starting Saturday, through December 31. We recommend a tall, cool glass of something besides water to wash down your salt lick of a meal.
