The Frankenstein story has been run roughshod by the cinema. The most famous film adaptation, James Whale's Frankenstein , was iconic enough to convince most people that “Frankenstein” was the name of the creature, not the doctor who created him. Chicago-based ensemble 500 Clowns aims to reclaim the story in their own inimitable way. Combining thrilling physical feats with powerful storytelling and incredible comedy, the troupe's three members bring the Frankenstein story to life in a way that casts the tale in an entirely new light.
