Roy Choi Book Signing At Diamond Jamboree This Saturday

Luxe lonchera cult celeb Roy Choi will be hawking his memoir, L.A. Son: My Life, My City, My Food this weekend in the forever-busy Asian food court that is Diamond Jamboree. Released last week, Choi believes the essence of his dozen chapters, ” …feels and smells like LA and OC.” We see what you did there, Roy.

A visit from the Kogi boy wouldn't be complete without his fusion menu making an appearance, so expect the Korean cuisine situated next to DJ's parking structure. We hear the last couple of times the truck made a visit, they sold out (#firstworldproblems?). Worst case, there's always every other food outlet on site.

Those interested in an autographed copy are advised to hit up The Hill at UCI or go online, as there will be a limited number available at the event. And for those without parking karma, Free Chapel Church's parking lot next door will allow customer parking. It's scheduled to start at 11:30, but curiously has no end time. Um, maybe when they run out of food?
