Let's be honest, we all fall under some sort of label. Me? I am what is known as a “dork.”

But if you happen to fall under either the label of “rockabilly” or “psychobilly” you're going to want to be at Disneyland next weekend for Rock Around the Park, the fourth annual event held for people just like you!

Presented by My Baby Jo, Rock Around the Park is a two-day event.

On the first day, Saturday, November 12, attendees will enjoy the Rock Around the Park Sock Hop, an all-ages, day-long event that features a car show, vendors, and live music.

Located at Knott's Lagoon in Buena Park (near Soak City and Independence Hall) the day kicks off with more than 50 different vendors who will be selling their wares from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Shopping at the event is free.

At 7:00 p.m. the day continues with a classic car show sponsored by the Los Valientes Car Club, live music from The Chop Tops and Rumble King, a jitterbug contest, raffles, and numerous contests with prizes. Tickets are $10, parking is free. The event ends at midnight.

The next day, on Sunday, November 13, rockabillies and psychobillies alike will descend upon the Happiest Place on Earth for a day-long Disneyland extravaganza.

Here's the full schedule of official events for Rock Around the Park:

I wonder when an unofficial Dork Day will be held at Disneyland. Actually, every day at Disneyland is Dork Day. Especially when I'm there.
