Jeff Light, the Orange County Register's vice president of interactive, will become vice president and editor of the San Diego Union-Tribune, according to the UT.
While researching last November's story about the Voice of OC, a few former Register staffers told me Light was an important man at 625 Grand Ave., masterminding the paper's transition to “web-first” publishing–and the resulting thirst for page views–in the past few years.
