RaggaMuffin Festival

Hey, remember Shaggy? Yeah, of course you do. 1995's Mr. “Boombastic”! Then, six years later, he had a big comeback with “It Wasn't Me” and “Angel.” Since then, he, well, he's still recording. His last studio album was 2007's Intoxication, and though it didn't grab much (any?) attention, it's still enough for the three-hit wonder to headline the 29th annual RaggaMuffins Festival in Long Beach. Heading up day No. 2 is reggae veteran Barrington Levy, who has a special connection to LB—he performed on two tracks from Right Back, the first studio album by the now-defunct Long Beach Dub Allstars. Also notable: Huntington Beach white-boy reggae troupe the Dirty Heads (Saturday) and prolific Jamaican vocalist Gregory Isaacs (Sunday).

Sat., Feb. 20, 1 p.m.; Sun., Feb. 21, 1 p.m., 2010
