Punk 101 With NOFX's Fat Mike

What do Big Mike and Betty White have in common? They both attended Beverly Hills High School. And, yeah, that's where similarities between the two end. There's a fat chance Fat Mike will reach White's current age of 93–but we hope we're wrong.

Fat Mike is pure punk. “Why be sober on tour? Why play sober?” Mike told A.V. Club. “Why do a job sober if you don't have to? And being a musician is really one of the only jobs that you're really pushed into performing drunk. People expect it. People expect rock stars to be wasted, and if you're not it's a disappointment.” Oi! Someone call Dr. Drew.

You can catch NOFX tomorrow, October 10, during It's Not Dead Fest at San Manuel Amphitheater at San Bernardino's San Manuel Amphitheater. Over 35 punk bands will be performing, including Bad Religion, Agent Orange, Fishbone, Less Than Jake, Pennywise, Reel Big Fish, and The Vandals.
