Chi Cheng, the Deftones bassist, was in a car accident in November 2008. Since then, he's been in a minimally conscious state, and his friends and family are trying to raise enough money to get him under the direct care of the International Brain Research Foundation.
Another benefit show is being planned for January 15 in Fullerton at the Slide Bar, and it may turn into a multi-night event, featuring P.O.D, Brian “Head” Welch, Hoobastank and Anew Revolution.
