You gotta admire the Pike for booking a musical fish out of water. Pee Wee Moore is a Texas country boy who sings serious songs of woe. His lyrical imagery is focused through the dull aching prism of heartbreak, done without the cheap veneer of Nashville commercialism. Just a southern drawl, a jangly guitar and loads of lament.
