  • We already talked about this (after all, our writer Gabriel San Roman was one of the project's prime movers) but we always like to see what OC Register is saying about our work … members of PHILM, side project of Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and War bassist Pancho Tomaselli, donated a Swarovski-encrusted guitar to help raise money for the arts program for the Anaheim City School District. The guitar is currently on eBay with a “Buy It Now” price of $10,000. What a steal! [OCR]

  • Shaggy-haired indie singer/songwriters Pete Yorn and Ben Kweller performed at the Wiltern in Los Angeles and will make a pit stop at the House of Blues Anaheim this weekend. [OCR]
  • Speaking of the Adolescents, punk rocker Tony Adolescent shares his stories on fatherhood in his punk-rocker-dads documentary The Other F Word. [Healthland]

  • Local band The Wandering Tree (formerly The Workday Release) lead singer David Ottestad lends his voice to the Natural High film series, which promotes kids living a drug- free lifestyle. [Digital Journal]
