I wrap up my coverage with Pandor Bakery by asking some of my favorite questions to co-founder Tiffany Sepetjian. Our photographer also captures some action shots of her and husband/co-founder, Raffi, outside of their Anaheim location.
Hardest lesson you’ve learned:
Trust your gut. Sometimes the perfect situations are not always what they seem.
Last thing you looked up/searched online:
Scaling between grams and ounces (how boring).
Do you have any skills that are non-food related?
I love to design. From clothes to cooking tools.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you.
I love water skiing and snow skiing.
Where did you grow up, and where’s home these days?
Grew up in the San Fernando Valley; I am a Valley Girl. Now I live in Anaheim.
Last song playing on your radio:
AC/DC. For Those About to Rock
How did the two of you meet?
I met him through a college friend. We were the exact opposites. I guess it’s like they say, opposites attract.
You have a day to yourself; what are you doing?
Playing with my kids.
What would you like to be doing if you weren’t in this business?
I would say, working in advertising. I love the creative side of relating to people. I was in advertising for many years on the media side, and worked for a large print firm, Hearst Publishing. And on the agency side, Team One Advertising.
Is there anything you’d like readers to know that we haven’t asked?
The best part of my job is to see when something we are offering in service or product makes someone’s day. Sometimes it’s not all the notoriety that makes my day worthwhile, but a simple helpful gesture that puts a smile on someone’s face that makes me content in what I do.
Do you know what you’ll be serving at Fresh Toast?
Still working on it. We are finalizing our R&D.
Pandor has multiple outlets in Orange County and Long Beach. For more information, visit www.pandorbakery.com.
Find out what Pandor is serving by attending OC Weekly’s Fresh Toast brunch event in February.
