What’s Summer Fest? In a letter, we’ve got your “B’s” covered: Beach, bands, booze and bites. Our annual jam is in the works to be bigger than last year’s. We’ve got the July 16 details to prove it.
The venue: Newport Dunes (of course). Your bands include Black Salt Tone, Cali Conscious, Rootz Underground . . . .and one more headliner to be announced. Jump into our photo booth or browse a few vendors. Beer and beverage sampling will be on the agenda, as well as a cash bar. There’s also the subject of food.
OC Weekly has always supported our local luxe loncheras. Featured that afternoon will be the likes of Burger Monster, Piaggio on Wheels, Sweet Lou’s BBQ, California Grill Truck and Falasophy. If you’re wanting to splurge on VIP, you’ll then have access to the Taco Throwdown competitors. We hear the cabana will even house a private cocktail lounge to wash down all those tacos.
