Celebrating our Summer Guide and all things beach and music in Orange County, Summer Fest is a Saturday afternoon filled with performances, a beer garden, luxe loncheras , vendors, water sports and other treats. Stock up on sunscreen and break out your selfie stick, because tickets are about to become available for this Newport Dunes party.
A portion of this year's proceeds will benefit the Ben Carlson Foundation and honor Ben, a Newport Beach lifeguard who passed away last fourth of July weekend while saving a distressed swimmer. We've got a partial list of bites and drinks being offered, plus early access to purchase. Just follow us after the jump.
Save the date for June 20 from noon to 5 p.m. You'll have three levels of access to choose from starting at 10 a.m. today. $15 general admission includes cocktail samples and access to all public areas, including the luxe lonchera area to purchase food. For $30, VIP status also adds on the Cutlass VIP cabana. Inside, you'll have private restrooms, a lounge, beer garden samples and exclusive performances. Top level ($40) is known as a Hungry VIP. Their biggest perk is a selection of tacos from contestants in the Taco Throwdown. Wait, there's a Taco Throwdown?
More information will become available later in the week. In the meantime, look forward to offerings by Sailor Jerry Rum, Milagro Tequila, Ludlows Cocktails and Sapporo. A partial lineup of trucks includes Ragin Cajun, Scooter's Italian Ice, Macho Nacho and The Buffalo Truck. Pre-sale Forker access can be found over at this link: http://ticketf.ly/1bmTwpn. Be sure to use code FORK when you access the site. All other inquiries can head over to the main event page by clicking here.
Pre-sale is for a limited time only. It shuts you out at midnight on the 23rd. However, public access to the site and sales will begin at 10 a.m. on April 24. Guess we'll be setting our phone alarm for that one.
