The seven-week OC Music Awards showcase series launches tomorrow at 8 p.m.at Detroit Bar with five local acts competing to advance for the title of Best Live Band. Preacher's Sons (this week's Locals Only), Semi Sweet, The Colourist, The Steelwells and The New Limb will battle it out for a chance to win a spot in the Finals and perform at the 2011 Music Awards ceremony on March 5 at the Grove in Anaheim.
