No More Tickling

Maybe we're a little oversensitive, but the idea of cute little Elmo entering pre-adolescence is kind of disturbing. The impish voice deepening, the fuzzy red face breaking out, his goldfish Dorothy being abandoned for a new girlfriend . . . something just doesn't seem right. But hell, it happens to all of us-including that little tyke you currently hold so dear. Luckily for us, When Elmo Grows Up neatly sidesteps the harsh realities of maturation and focuses instead on the theoretically fun part: getting a job and being a productive participant in society! Elmo and his friends dream about what they want to be when they grow up: police officer, cowboy, forest ranger, certified public accountant, desk clerk at the DMV, police informant. Okay, we were lying about the last three. When Elmo Grows Up wisely sticks to the bright side of adulthood. No need to scare the kids before they figure it out for themselves.
