Starting November, Orange County job postings on Craigslist.org will cease to be freebies. But instead of crying havoc and releasing the hounds, CL frequenters are embracing the $25 posting fee. Huh?
Well, CL management and folks on both sides of the job market believe that charging something in that section will make it more legit. So people like snkh820 and CHARGETHE25ALREADY who are sick of sifting through bullcrap ads with titles like “DREAM JOB OF A LIFETIME” will have something to grin about.
Those pushing odd jobs or small-scale projects need not worry – the “gigs” section will remain free.
