Hogging All the Attention

kiss a pigWhen I was a kid, teachers would give us gold stars for good behavior. Some would even take us on field trips. But at Richman School in Fullerton, such pedestrian rewards are apparently insufficient.

There, as a reward for the students' good behavior, the principal kissed a live pig. It seems he had wanted to kiss a stuffed animal but decided to let the kids choose.

Considering the imaginations of kids these days, I imagine it must have come as a relief they only chose a pig . . . and a pretty clean one, at that.
