Costa Mesa resident Margo Adams files suit against Red Sox player Wade Boggs, claiming that married-man Boggs had reneged on a promise to reimburse her for lost wages due to her traveling with him during the course of their four year affair. Adams later poses for Penthouse, enabling red-blooded men across the country the exquisite pleasure of fantasizing about baseball AND breasts at the same time. Boggs' marriage survived, though his wife did later roll over him with a car. Boggs is inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005 for Most Mustache Rides Administered during the regular season.
