New Surf Movie to Premiere at Lido Theatre: The Kerrazy Kronicles

Josh Kerr is an Australian surfer with an affinity for pushing the innovation envelope when it comes to riding waves. In 2010, when he wasn't in pursuit of re-qualifying for the ASP World Tour, he was hunting mutant waves, called slabs, or boosting airs to ridiculous heights on waves around the world. And now he's got a neat little package in which to present his efforts, which he is calling The Kerrazy Kronicles.

The flick will premiere at OC's go-to surf-film venue, Lido Theatre in Newport Beach, on March 16 at 8 p.m. After the movie, there's an after-party at Blue Beat, near the pier.
A bit of film footage after the jump.

Kerr is currently on Australia's Gold Coast along with OC's Brett Simpson and Pat Gudauskas competing in the first event of the season, the Quiksilver Pro at Snapper Rocks. Kerr lost a close third-round heat to fellow Australian Adrian “Ace” Buchan.

Here's sneak peak of what not to expect in The Kerrazy Kronicles. The film footage should be even better, as the following are clips from a trip to Bali that didn't make the final cut.
