Pry the kids away from the computer and haul them over to the Discovery Science Center for the latest science-disguised-as-fun offering, “MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition.” Along with a display of MythBusters show props and remnants from stuff Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman blew up, the exhibit features an assortment of superstition-bashing activities (some done by a trained facilitator, some done yourself). Myths to be busted include the ol' “running through the rain can keep you dry” theory, “toast always lands butter-side-down” legend, and whether it's possible to actually “huff, puff and blow a house in.” Whatever they say—we're still avoiding soda and Pop Rocks.
