Denise Hahn is the crafty mind behind Etsy shop In My Blue Room, a haven of all kinds of vintagey decorating goodness. She recently joined forces with Julie Wooley of Long Beach shop The Vintage Emporium to offer a series of craft nights at the shop called “Crafty Thursdays”. These monthly workshops feature a different local artist teaching a fun technique. The mini-book class on October 29 is special in that 100% of the class fee will go to Breast Cancer research.

Denise was inspired to teach the Mini Book class because of her personal ties to breast cancer: “My Mom is a Breast Cancer survivor of 3 years. This event hit home with Julie, too, as her mother recently had to have a double mastectomy and is fighting breast cancer as we speak.”
