We might soon add “movie star” to Miranda Lambert's repertoire—it's just been reported that the country singer is developing a comedy film about a group of women competing against their spouses in a bass fishing contest. And, yeah, we would probably watch that. Lambert's latest album, Platinum (her fifth), released in June to the grabby hands of adoring fans and critics alike. Perhaps its her awesomely campy side project, Pistol Annies, or her Thelma-and-Louise friendship with fellow country star Carrie Underwood, or her every-girl lyrics about the imperfections of life, but Miss Miranda gets our vote for America's Sweetheart. Don't miss her performance tonight at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.
