Merida of Disney/Pixar's “Brave” Coming to Disneyland

Disney/Pixar's new animated film Brave hits theaters this June, but, as expected, Disney theme parks are rolling out the film's marketing blitzkrieg starting right… now!
After the jump, learn where you'll soon be able to meet Merida, Brave's lead character, in the parks, and check out some of the attraction's concept art.

Merida, the badass Scottish archer of Disney/Pixar's upcoming film Brave, will debut in the Happiest Place on Earth when Imagineers transform an area near it's a small world into the Scottish Highlands.
In the film, Merida (voiced by actress Kelly Macdonald) defies an age-old custom, which then throws her father's kingdom into utter chaos! Something tells me the meet-and-greet won't be nearly that exciting, but at least you'll be able to take your photo with a hot redhead.
The attraction will also feature a play that introduces other characters from the film (three bear cub characters are expected to be a part of the experience), as well as archery lessons for kids.
That's right! Disneyland will now have armed children running around! Sounds a little like Uganda, doesn't it?
Disney released this concept art of the new attraction.
Merida and friends are slated to debut in the park sometime in May. Brave hits theaters June 22.
