In May we told you about a food truck festival would be hitting Long Beach in much the same way that the LA Street Food Festival hit downtown Los Angeles in February (hopefully this time without the disorganization and massive crowds).
Well, that glorious, taste-bud-satisfying, potentially artery-clogging day is finally here: The First Annual Long Beach Street Food Fest kicks off July 24 at Rainbow Lagoon Park (located off the 710 Freeway at Shoreline Dr., behind the Long Beach Convention Center) from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Almost two dozen gourmet food trucks will crowd the festival site–the selection is pretty diverse, so you'll be able to taste everything from gourmet hot dogs to Hawaiian BBQ to breakfast in the afternoon.
