While researching an upcoming interview, we learned of a farm-to-table concept moving into the neighborhood this summer. Scott Brandon, known most recently for his work at Crow Bar + Kitchen, plans to launch his next venture in Old Town Orange.

It'll be LinX, an artisan sausage and Belgian frites shoppe. Drinks will include craft Belgium, German and domestic beers. Hand-crafted bread and condiments made in-house round out his understated intention of doing a limited number of items well (instead of a slew of mediocre ones). Seating will include an outdoor patio lined with citrus trees and a communal table.
Interested parties can mosey over to Three Seventy Common in Laguna Beach on Monday, April 16, as Scott will guest chef at their inaugural Uncommon Monday monthly dinners. A five-course dinner for $55 will be served, with courses including brandade croquettas and apple strudel ice cream sandwich sliders. As long as he doesn't start frosting his tips and pull up in a vintage convertible, he's got our attention.
