Kimera Promotes Weekly Beer Flights

Dispel those road rage tendencies on Hump Day by shortening your time spent lining up for the metering light. Park yourself by the Google building for a cold beverage, or five, thanks to Kimera's Wednesday-night beer tastings.

Launched last week, this alternate universe Happy Hour deal will run you $15. The good news: it includes a three-ounce sampling of beer for each digit on your left hand, plus an order of their signature Parmesan garlic fries to dip into aioli with the other. Well, isn't that special?

Opening week's draft offered a hodge podge of flavors, from Monty Python's Holy Grail by Black Sheep Brewing Company to Lost Coast's Downtown Brown. On the agenda this round last night: the flavors of Red Hook. We're smacking our lips for June 27, when a selection from Bootleggers will save us from the Orange Crush. And if you're in need of additional sustenance, their lounge menu will already be specially priced for the evening. Tastes include calamari, flatbreads and sliders.

Flights are served up from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays only. Visit their website for more information. See you next week!
