You know that song that goes, “If you like Piña Coladas?” Well, it turns out that Rupert Holmes—the guy who wrote it—doesn’t actually like piña coladas. Crazy, right? And in a weird way, Weeds' Kevin Nealon, who plays the loveable stoner that does shit like take steroids to win a company softball game, is kind of like the piña colada guy. While Nealon’s character, Doug, is a bong connoisseur and hopeless pot head on television, in reality, he doesn’t touch the ganja. And Doug is just one reason why Nealon is one of the most loved comedians on the continent. Like his previous roles on Saturday Night Live, Nealon’s stand up routines are piss-your-pants hilarious. So head on down to the Irvine Improv, order a frozen drink and get ready for belly-aching laughter—just don’t offer him a doobie.
