Take a talented group of culinary professionals, throw in a selection of OC Baking Company breads, and you've got the inaugural Big Cheese festival and competition being held at Provisions Market. Although it is sold out, we learned of one avenue hungry followers can go down to acquire a coveted pair of tickets. In order to attend, interested parties must first be available next Monday from 6 p.m. onward, they must not be lactose intolerant, and they should be ready for carb overload. Oh yeah, there's beer involved.

Ticket holders will taste hot cheesiness from the likes of Danny Godinez of Anepalco's Cafe, Haven Gastropub's Craig Brady, Noah Blom of ARC, Gabbi Patrick of Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen, Scott Brandon from Fireside Tavern, Mark McDonald of Old Vine Cafe, Little Sparrow's Eric Samaniego, Host Chef Greg Daniels, and Dee Nguyen from Break of Dawn. Sounds like a SAFII dream team, if you ask me.
Now in order to be in the running for those tickets (there are two, so start thinking about that plus one), sandwich fans are asked to share the status on Provision Market's Facebook page, found at this link. and tell them why you should attend The Big Cheese. Not only will the lucky person receive tickets, but they're even throwing in a duo of beer flights to enjoy while you chew.
